THE NATIONAL COMMUNITY LANGUAGE SCHOOLS DAY .
This will be a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about the important work that community language schools do week in week out !
Purpose:
- To highlight the work and role of community language schools in Australia
- To provide an opportunity for CLS to partner with mainstream schools in promoting social cohesion and harmony
- To recognize the efforts of outstanding CLS teachers and instructors
- To promote the work of CLS students
- To promote importance of language and cultural maintenance
- Schools throughout Australia at present are planning their involvement
- CLA will issue a national calendar of events to be held on the day
